We dabbled (successfully, I feel) in early Verdi, so I've been watching with interest as Glimmerglass tries their hand (successfully, it seems) with early Wagner. Check it out. Wish I could make a trip to Cooperstown.

I also wish we could get some video clips on this blog. We have the footage, we have the permission (with appropriate limitations). What we don't have is software that works worth a damn (anyone have recommendations for a truly functional inexpensive non-Apple video editor?) and the time/personnel to edit the raw footage. Perhaps it's a project for the "off" season. (When is that, again?)
